The clock rests in a beveled glass case supported by a cloisonne and green onyx platform. Additional decorative elements include four Corinthian columns with Egyptian-style bases and cloisonne shafts, the pendulum having a hand-painted portrait of an 18th century lady within a cloisonne border.
