The first being THE WORKS OF THE REVEREND AND LEARNED MR. JOSEPH BOYSE, (London: John Gray, 1728), 400 pp. plus two pp. of advertising, folio. Two volumes bound in one folio. This collection of sermons by a Presbyterian minister of Ireland attacks the Catholic Church and concludes with a discourse on the Quakers. Front cover loose, back cover and final pages separated from spine. Overall good condition; the second a KING JAMES BIBLE (Philadelphia: M. Carey, 1814), 1,130 pp. with fold-out map, quarto. Internal foxing, covers sound. Very good condition; the third a German bible, 18th century, approximately 1,000 pp., folio, with numerous engravings. Modern endpapers, missing title page, covers sound, internal aging as expected. Possibly Joann Schramm's Bible published in Nurnberg, 1748. Very good condition.
