19th century, carved gilt wood and gesso, having a rectangular mottled black marble top over egg and dart molding, the top supported by a full bodied spread wing eagle clutching a ball in its single claw.

Hand carved eagles.

Later marble; allover loss to gilt and gesso; some wood chips especially to the wings; beak of one eagle restored; some gold paint touch-ups.
