Early 19th century, likely North Carolina, walnut and yellow pine, the case with lightwood line inlay to the hinged lid as well as diamond keyhole inlay, is set within a frame having a scratch beaded edge. Restored interior divisions. Construction of case: blind and half-blind dovetails; stand: pegged mortise and tenon.
