Oil on Morilla Canvas Board, impressionist rural landscape and farm home scene painted in vibrant colors, signed and titled en verso, housed in gold tone wood frame. Camassar, a self taught artist, was a frequent visitor to the home of Florence Griswold, as well as a second generation member of the Old Lyme, Connecticut Art Colony and a long time member of the Mystic Art Association. He is best known for his use of vibrant colors and his paintings such as this one, a simple farm home in landscape.
