Circa 1820s, time and strike twin train brass movement, unsigned arched polychrome dial with a depiction of "The Genius of Poetry Finding Burns at the Plough" and spandrels featuring the Four Seasons, subsidiary seconds and date insets, oak with mahogany stain, broken arch pediment topped with turned brass finial, the whole on ball feet.
