The Unanimous Declaration of Independence (Boston: Chemical Printing Company, n.d., late 1830s), the text of the great document is transcribed here along with a list of signers by state, a letter by John Adams discussing the event's importance, a list of presidents (ending with Jackson's second term), a look at the "singular coincidence" of Jefferson and Adams both dying on the Declaration's 50th anniversary, commemorations of James Monroe and Charles Carroll of Carrollton and, finally, some patriotic verse. Behind mat in a 19th century gilt and gesso frame.
