Written in the Time of the Late Wars," (London: Chiswell, Townson, Horne & Wellington, 1710), 408 pp., 5 x 3 in., full tooled calf with gilt plate on spine, portrait of Butler faces title page, several engravings. This work first appeared shortly after the English Civil War. Title page inscribed "Chas. Hale."

Small splits to cover along spine; else intact with tight binding. Very good condition.
