Probably Virginia, circa 1800, mahogany, mahogany veneer, white pine secondary, line lightwood inlay and banded veneer border, the hinged top with an interesting central inlaid moth motif, escutcheon inlaid with conch shell, raised on line inlaid square tapered legs with molded spade feet, sides with applied brass handles.
