With metallic thread characters embroidered against a bright red field and surrounded by clouds and bats in silk threads (the top characters are longevity, nobility, and perfection; the characters in the middle and along the edges are for longevity). Framed under glass.

DOA 84 x 42 in.

From the Mead Corporation art collection which was begun in 1955 and actively acquiring works until the early 1980s.

Some of the metallic embroidered has been torn and come loose; not examined out of the frame.
