Cherry and cherry veneers with white pine and poplar secondary, the fall front opens to reveal a divided interior faced with mahogany veneers, later felt writing surface; the case with two over three cock beaded graduated drawers flanked by reeded stiles, raised on turned feet; signed in black paint on the back boards "J G PHILA PA."
