Ca. 1820s, both sugar bowls, the first stamped "WOODS" (Enoch Woods) on underside, depicts Lafayette visiting Benjamin Franklin's grave, 4.75"; the second, unmarked, (probably a Clews product) shows Lafayette's arrival in New York, 5.25". Commemorates General Lafayette's 1825-1825 visit to the United States.

Chips, repair to one handle, missing lids.
