Monumental Pair Gorham Bronze Dore Candlesticks,

Ca. 1900, elaborate sticks cast in the French manner, wide mouth with removable cylindrical nozzle which allows use of either pillar or taper, baluster body decorated with acanthus leaves, the whole set on stepped, footed triangular base having scrolled supports, each decorated with large acanthus leaf, marked "Gorham Co. Special 4606" on base edge. Pair of drip caps included.
