Pen and ink on two sheets of octavo stationery, to include: a documentary sketch showing Union soldiers in camp by either the Trent or Neuse Rivers, two men are on shore while four of their comrades enjoy a swim; the map shows New Bern and its environs, including the location of Federal forts, occupying garrisons and the "Rebel Blockade" across the Neuse.
