Early 20th century, both pieces consisting of bold floral beadwork set against a tan beaded ground backed and bordered with fabric, the first likely a blanket strip and personalized "CHAS MOOSE," Charlie Green's "Indian name" (6.25 x 47.5 in.) (Stains to back with some edging loss; small 1 in. area of bead loss in the ground); the second is a shoulder covering with two decorative front panels (24.5 x 20.5 in.) (Some fracturing to top edge of the upper fabric border).

Descended from Charles Green, early 20th century Indian agent and native of Okobojo, South Dakota. Charlie Green, a Spanish-American War veteran, worked for the government as an agent in various locations, including the Pacific Northwest. He died in Portland, Oregon in the 1950s.
