Having a Coromandel case with oval inset brass plaque, the fitted case with royal blue velvet/silk lining and gilt embossed blue leather trim tooled in gilt "I.J. Mehi Maker, 4 Leadenhall St. London, to include two rectangular glass bottles with glass stoppers (3.75 in.); two faceted round jars (3.5 in.); two scent bottles with glass stoppers (1.5 x 1.75 in.); one glass brush holder with original brush marked "Mechi Leadenhall Street London" (1.5 x 7 in.); one glass box (1.5 x 3.25); ten assorted vanity items to include nail accessories. Six bottles with sterling lids with leaf and floral scroll design marked for William Neal, London, 1854; four bottles with lids unmarked but testing for silver content. Box with folded interior lid opening to reveal mirror and letter compartment; with lift out tray and bottom jewelry drawer, Original key is present. Mehi is listed in "The Dictionary of English Furniture Makers 1660-1840."
