Servant Paris" and marked "Medaille D' Or 1867," time and strike brass movement marked "GS" with another mention of the 1867 gold medal, the clock is surmounted with the figure of an emotional young woman reading a letter; secondary decorative elements include applied griffins on the sides and masked paw feet to the front.
