Circa 1820, mahogany and highly figured mahogany veneers, white pine and poplar secondary woods, three part form, the shaped cornice of peaked and concave form surmounted by brass finial above a bookcase with double glazed doors enclosing an adjustable shelved interior, base with molded surround. The lower case with three side by side short drawers over an upper drawer having a fall front and fitted interior above two paneled cabinet doors concealing a later 19th century addition of a press drawer, raised on later ball feet.
