Large Stoneware Lidded Pickle Crock

Late 19th century, both lid and crock decorated in cobalt with stylized leaves, crock also with incised lines. Interestingly, the lid interior is stamped "5" and the crock is stamped "3" although the fit is excellent. Possibly one lid was made to fit several size bases.
