With finely detailed supports in the form of partially draped nudes, the upper platform with bacchantes, putti, fruits and scrollwork, each marked to base.

6.75 x 5.75 in. diameter

The important fondeur and doreur Henri Picard worked in Paris from 1831 to 1884, most notably for the Emperor Napoléon III. A pair of twelve-light candelabra by Picard are housed at the Louvre.
