From the Collection of Mr. Bill Faison, Hillsborough, NC A four-term member of the North Carolina General Assembly and successful attorney, Faison has been a long time supporter of the arts of North Carolina.

One of North Carolina's most recognized contemporary artists, Lowry studied art and primary education at East Carolina University. She furthered her art studies with Wolf Kahn and Sidney Goodman, developing a technique and palette all her own. Her paintings are included in numerous public and private collections, including the NC Museum of Art. She has exhibited extensively throughout her career and is currently featured in a solo exhibition at Tyndall Galleries in Chapel Hill.
