Facsimiles of letters to and from Shigenobu Okuma, Prime Minister of Japan in 1898 and 1914-1916, also the founder of Waseda University, mounted on an extremely long hand scroll, mounting shows age, as a point of reference an exhibition of his letters was recently shown at Waseda University in the fall of 2015 entitled "Shigenobu Okuma Exhibition- From Waseda to the World," showing the continued interest in these letters.
