Descended through the Leffert and Vanartsdalen families, to include: a sixth-plate cased ruby ambrotype of a Union soldier, the photograph presented in one side of a double-image thermoplastic case molded with a patriotic American shield-and-flags motif. An accompanying 20th century note suggests this soldier might be a Philadelphia Leffert; an unidentified gem tintype of a Union soldier in a circular locket; a pocket watch case with an AMV monogram converted into a husband/wife tintype locket; a gilt bronze GAR badge with its conforming eagle with cannon hanger (lacking flag ribbon); a marked 10K gold man's finger ring with JHV monogram; a gold alloy with enamel Odd Fellows badge; 19th century leather change purse.
