From the collection of the late Dr. & Mrs. Bernard Epstein, Great Neck, New York

Appraised on December 3, 1963 by Harold Dahl, Equitable Appraisal Company, New York City and Towaco, New Jersey and again on March 6, 1989 by Dr. Robert Myron of Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York.

Both right legs have been detached and repaired; black light reveals additional restoration to the dog's muzzle.
