19th century, the brass movement numbered 339 twice and marked "AB" within a star, possibly for Achille Brocot, the Roman numeral dial and two side panels are paint decorated with birds amidst spring foliage.

The bottom is affixed with three notes noting various cleanings, adjustments and repairs made between 1969 and 1990.

Originally gilt with only minimal traces of gold remaining; small crack to upper corner of left panel. Lacking key; not guaranteed to run.
