Owing much influence to Andrew Wyeth and N.C. Wyeth, Eric Parks' work was featured alongside those of his father and brother in Three Sculptors of American Realism: Charles Parks, Eric Parks, Christopher Parks, a 1973 exhibition at the Brandywine River Museum. In 1980, Parks was commissioned to create the first bronze sculpture of Elvis Presley, which was unveiled on Beale
Street in Memphis, TN. In 1988, Parks' sculpture American Song, a life-size bronze of a man playing the flute, was unveiled as part of Philadelphia's Public
Art project.
