Late 18th century, eastern VA or NC, poplar primary with old likely original black paint, four turned legs of hardwood, poplar and mixed secondary woods, rectangular form, each drop leaf with single gate leg support, straight skirt, turned tapered legs terminating in pad feet, underside with medial stabilizing bar.

28 x 44.75 x 17 in., each leaf 18.25 in.
