This example is of the last production year for the TR6. It is equipped with the 2.5 liter straight 6 cylinder engine and 4 speed manual transmission with overdrive. This car has a distinct look with Java Green paint, 5.5" reproduction driving lights, 16" Panasport wheels and Michelin 205/60R16 tires, wooden steering wheel, and stone gear shift knob. It has every option offered. This car has been meticulously maintained, and sorted by a British car expert, and is of the finest examples. The body and frame are rust free. It is optioned with factory installed overdrive, and dealer installed A/C. The factory Tecumsah A/C compressor has been replaced by a rotary style compressor, and the lines and dryer were replaced. A respray in the original Java Green paint remains shiny, and shows well. The factory steel hardtop is slightly off in color, but was fully restored with new headliner, seals, chrome. The black soft top was replaced some time ago and remains in great condition. It has a period correct chrome luggage rack. The headlights were switched to clear lenses, and accept brighter H4 halogen bulbs. The driving lights are reproductions of the Lucas 500 Series driving lights.

The interior of the car is in excellent condition. The seats were recovered in leather, and the shift boot was matched. All of the wood has been restored.

New windshield and gasket. The teak dash was resprayed clear and a new dash pad was installed. Plush embroidered mats are included. A high torque starter was installed. It retains the original jack, lug wrench and handle. Electronic ignition and a Lucas sport coil. External rocker arm oiler installed to supplement a sometimes inadequate oil supply. Crankshaft tolerances corrected to 0.0005" of end float with Scott Helms thrust washers. Factory green hoses. Brake system was completely restored recently. Passenger side differential mount was reinforced, as this can be a problem area. Body and frame are rust free. All of the rubber has been replaced.

Car is in excellent condition, with no apparent concerns. No rust, and all panels appear to be original. Body and chassis is rust free.
