Labeled Edward Holmes and Simeon Haines, (active 1825-1829), mahogany, mahogany veneers, poplar and white pine secondary, three part form, applied flared cornice with mirrored crotch veneered frieze, two cabinet doors with molded mullions, louvered shelved interior above three side by side small drawers, the base with hinged fold out writing lid featuring a banded veneer border and interior with later felt writing surface above and upper convex drawer over two long drawers, stiles with applied fully turned columns raised on carved acanthus tall foot.
