Howard was a member of the Philadelphia Ten, a group of ten women who exhibited together each year from 1917-1945. Her work has been exhibited at the Whitney Museum of Art, the Corcoran Gallery, and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Howard is known for her plein air Impressionist scapes, so this interior cathedral view is more rare.
