To include a necklace centered with nine oval brilliant cut yellow topaz prong and bezel set in a conforming carved and bead work frames, completed on each side with a fancy bow knot chain terminating in a carved and bead work clasp with one prong and bezel set oval brilliant cut topaz; the "day and night" ear pendants en suite, the "day" earrings completed with screw back findings and with a detachable "night" pendant set with one oval brilliant cut topaz suspending a pear cut topaz drop and completed with ear wires; the cruciform pendant / brooch with fitting for brooch wear and with a detachable topaz set drop for pendant wear to the necklace. Total estimated weight of the (24) oval brilliant cut topaz the two pear cut topaz 107.46 carats. No markings found, testing 14KT.

From the Estate of the late Dr. Alison Mary Turner, Wake Forest, NC. Much of the collection was inherited from Dr. Turner's parents, Royal Navy Captain and Mrs. John Schomberg Hammill and great-grandparents, Admiral Sir Montague Edward Browning and Lady Ruth Boldero Browning. As members of the Peers of the Realm of Great Britain, Dr. Turner's family history is well documented, and additional information on the family is available.

According to family history and early note of provenance accompanying the set, it was to go to the first daughter to marry in each generation in descent from the Neeld family of Grittleton, Chippenham, Wiltshire. The first bride gifted the set was Ann Neeld upon her marriage to Captain Francis French Staunton on March 6, 1809 in Middlesex, Westminster.

Accompanied with original fitted case from John D. Harris / Goldsmith / Queen Square / Bath; with family note of descendancy from 1809 - 1957.

Good estate condition; likely included a bracelet; earring fittings likely modified.
