This Cognac Grande Champagne was served at the royal banquet given to their majesties King George VI and Queen Elizabeth at the Chateau de Versailles in July 1938 and was again chosen to be served to Queen Elizabeth II during her majesty’s visit to France in April 1957.

Bottle was believed purchased in the late 1950s on an Air Force base in Alaska.
