Caswell County, North Carolina, mid 19th century, poplar secondary, multi-part form, ogee and cove molded cornice surmounted by a shaped pediment with central applied rosette, above a frieze with applied carved central shield and leaf, the case with two hinged large doors, each with double panel, the upper stylized trefoil and an unusual central oval mirror, divided interior, the left for shelves and the right for coat hanging, the base with with two side by side drawers, paneled sides, nicely shaped and scalloped skirt, on bracket feet.

97 x 61 (case width 54 in.) x 21 (case depth 18 in.).

Upper pediment missing two side finials; retaining old possibly original surface; right side panel with small wood loss and some discolorations; other expected wear.
