Late 19th century, the first is a five gallon double handled jar with an under-fired alkaline glaze (18 x 10 in.); a two gallon crock having a dark alkaline glaze with some rutile, applied lug handles (11.5 in.); a five gallon crock with applied lug handles and a flat everted rim (1.75 in. rim chip) (13 x 11 in.).
