Two Fraternal Dress Swords
Lot Details & Additional Photographs
Late 19th to early 20th century, the first by Charles Svendsen of Cincinnati, the blade etched for a 2nd Lieutenant of the 77th Commandery (LOA 37.5 in.) (some oxidation to the scabbard; overall very good condition); the second a Knights of Columbus sword by the M. C. Lilley & Co., Columbus, Ohio, bright gilt etched blade personalized for Harold Bent Abbott (LOA 37.5 in.) (sword not with its appropriate scabbard since it is too long to be inserted completely; light scattered rusting).

The Collection of Mr. Wayne Lockey of Grand Junction, Colorado.
