Consists of approximately 40 business and legal papers such as letters, documents, and receipts from 1865 through the 1890s. Also includes are two ledgers, three calling card printing plates, and a binder of letters associated with the NC Bar Association, circa 1900. Faison, a former Confederate colonel, became president of the North Carolina Penitentiary's Board of Directors in his later years.
