Late 18th century, poplar and pine secondary, top with applied cove molded cornice, two upper side by side drawers above four graduated lipped drawers, each with full dust boards, frame with applied lower molding above a single long drawer, scalloped skirt, raised on cabriole legs with trifid feet.

Estate of the Late Richard Rivoire of Charles County, Maryland and Raleigh, North Carolina. A noted historical architect, J. Richard Rivoire was a native of Charles County, Maryland and the first to do extensive documentation of historic structures in that county. He moved to Raleigh in 2005 and was actively engaged in the research and documenting of historic structure in this region.

Replaced pulls and escutcheons; some drawer runners and guides rebuilt; small cut and patch to right front cornice edge; upper left side cornice with some molding missing; some minor molding loss below waist molding on base; some later glue blocks to base frame.
