The first is unmarked and features a hand-painted scene with Classical figures in a lush landscape with sea beyond, presented in a later gilt frame (Plaque 7.25 x 9 1/8 in., SS 5.5 x 7.75 in., DOA 10 x 12 in.) (scratching to plaque, the plaque has been affixed to foam spacers with a clear epoxy); the second is marked for Galerie Ernst Arnold of Dresden and is a copy of Titian's portrait of his daughter Lavinia, impressed marks "K 106" to verso, presented in the likely original frame with velvet liner (Plaque 6.25 x 4 5/8 in., SS 6 x 4 3/8 in.) (wear to velvet, surface grime to plaque).
