Originally from Wyoming, Braitman received his BFA from the University of Maryland and now lives in Charlotte, NC, where he founded and runs a successful art school. He approaches art from an interdisciplinary perspective, believing that in addition to art classes it is important to understand the human form by studying anatomy and light by studying physics. Braitman has participated in solo or group shows in Santa Fe, Chicago, Washington, DC, Baltimore, and various other national and international locations.
