Although unmarked, these bottles are in the style of Jacob Petit, a Paris manufacturer known for his high quality and large bottles of Turkish and Ottoman figures.

Stopper of sultan with minor flake; sultana's stopper with stable drying crack and minor flakes; stable old hairline to base of sultan's robe along juncture with integral plinth; some scratching to polychrome of sultan's robe at verso; the sultana with original drying crack to back of one arm and flake to top of turban; both with minor rubbing to gilt decoration.
