19th century, attributed to Edgefield District, light olive alkaline glazed stoneware having a rolled rim above applied lug handles, tapered ovoid body.

One handle replaced; a seven inch and eight inch hairline from the rim downwards; other small imperfections including drying cracks around the handles. Hairlines appear stable.
