Early 20th century, mold formed and glazed turtle standing on a rocky plinth, inscribed to underside "T.N." and "W.P.A."

5 x 10 x 7 in.

Descent of the Sauter, Loree and Van Houten families of Somerset County, New Jersey and Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

This belonged to the consignor's mother who worked in the WPA office.
