Mid-19th century, 40.75 in. octagonal barrel with full maple stock, approximately .40 caliber bore, iron mounts to include a New York-made lockplate marked G. GOULCHER and engraved with a hunting scene, wooden ramrod secured by a brass guide and a later copper guide.

Scuffs and dings to stock from use; pitting at breech and hammer; most of barrel with smooth age patina; hammer pulls back but will not hold.
