George III Mahogany Tilt Top Table

Circa 1800, shaped top with molded edge and shell carving, urn turned standard with acanthus leaf carving on three cabriole legs with acanthus carved knee, ball and claw feet.

28 x 29 x 25 in.

Break and repairs to block; refinished; old but later metal support to underside of legs at joint; gouges to center of top; two legs with exterior stabilizing repair at joint.
