Circa 1860, shaped crest rail with central shell and scrolls, vasiform back splat, needlepoint upholstered shaped slip seat, molded seat rail with repeating central shell carving, acanthus carved knees on front ball and claw feet.

Restoration throughout; missing original arms with areas of fill; break and repair to crest rail; break and repair to stiles.
