A Victorian Desk Standish

Black lacquered with gilt highlights and mother-of-pearl inlay, a hand-painted cluster of lily-of-the-valley decorated the surface, two cut glass ink wells flank a lidded stamp box, pen well, all above a single drawer, the box is raised on four feet.

Box only 3.25 x 12 x 9.25 in.

Gilt has rubbed in many places; sone mother-of-pearl losses.
