From the Collection of Charlotte Rodman, Southern Pines, NC Charlotte is a NC native with a lifelong interest in art. She grew up in eastern NC, went to school in Raleigh and later owned a gallery in Pinehurst. She has lived in the Sandhills area for the last 30 years and gained recognition for both her work and her service in the arts community.

Born in Tennessee, Freeman moved around frequently. He had studios in El Paso, TX, Philadelphia, PA, Los Angeles, CA, Richmond, VA, and lastly Greensboro, NC.
