Early 19th century, appears to be figured maple case, yellow pine secondary, brass face with second hand and dated dial, Roman numerals, with spread-winged eagle and motto "Tempus Fugit," face engraved with floral, hound, and rabbit, brass works, hood with broken arch pediment featuring rosettes, plain frieze above a hinged tombstone door, case with hinged flush scratch beaded door, base with chamfered quarter columns, shaped skirt, on French bracket feet; with two weights, pendulum and case key.

Appears to be a fine brass face by the English clockwork maker Lear Pinhey, set in a fine American Federal figured maple tall clock case with old surface.
