18th century, two part form, maple, white pine secondary, upper case has been converted into a chest, applied cove molded cornice, three over four graduated lipped drawers with upper relief carved shell on later scalloped skirt and straight bracket feet, together with the original base having a one over three drawer configuration with repeating lipped drawers and carved central shell, scalloped skirt on tall cabriole legs.

Chest 40.5 x 37 x 19 in.; base 35.5 x 37 x 19 in.

The upper chest has later skirt and bracket feet; refinished and restored; several drawers with repaired lip edges.
