The first a circa 1900, unmarked parcel gilt silver box of rectangular form, the hinged cover featuring a hand-painted enamel roundel of cupid in a woodland interior, the cover further decorated with floral and foliate engraving and with cream and gilt enameled border, applied band of foliate scrollwork to edges (.5 x 3 x 2 1/8 in.) (good estate condition); the second a circular double-sided gilt metal box marked "Made in France," early 20th century, each hinged cover with cobalt and royal blue guilloche enameling (.75 x 1 3/8 in. diameter) (minor flaking to original mirrors, some scratching to enamel).
